The main objective for the creation of MOBC is to take measures to protect the interests of minorities and other disadvantaged class communities and also include welfare programs/arrangements for minorities and other backward classes in the state.

The main objectives are to take measures to protect the interests of minorities and communities in the OBC and to include state welfare programs/plans.

During the Eleventh Plan period, emphasis is placed on improving socio-economic conditions, a continuation of post-matrical and pre-matrical scholarships for OBC students, the construction of OBC hostels, training programs for professionals, and remedial coaching.

Recently, the Ministry of Minorities, the Government of India, launched special programs for minority communities.

Below are the different MOBC scholarship schemes available for OBC students.

Indian students can also apply for other available scholarship opportunities.
