The Nasser-UNITEC Foundation scholarships are offered by the Central American Technological University (UNITEC), a private institution of higher education, and was founded in 1987 with the purpose of becoming an alternative for university education, both for its innovative academic offer and for its proposal and educational model.

THE NASSER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – UNITEC IS AN INITIATIVE OF:
Nasser Foundation, the “Central American Technological University (UNITEC)” and the “Technological University Center (CEUTEC).
UNITEC|CEUTEC is in charge of the administration of the Scholarship Program and the selection process of the Beneficiaries.

Users and potential participants of the Scholarship Program must read these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. By starting any application process for the Scholarship Program, it is understood that the user or Applicant has read and agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
In the event that the user or Applicant is under 18 years of age, their father, mother, legal guardian, or responsible adult must read and accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf, therefore, when starting any application process for the Scholarship Program, it will be understood that the parents, legal guardians or responsible adults of the Applicant have read and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL SCOPE OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS
OBJECTIVE
The Scholarship Program aims to promote undergraduate education for young people in Honduras. It is designed exclusively for young students who are about to complete their first undergraduate degree and are not active students at UNITEC|CEUTEC. Inactive students are those who have spent four (4) terms or more, consecutively, without enrolling at UNITEC|CEUTEC. (hereinafter “Inactive Students”). Any application that does not meet this requirement will be automatically annulled.
UNITEC SCHOLARSHIP ALLOCATION COMMITTEE AND ITS RESOLUTIONS
The UNITEC|CEUTEC Scholarship Allocation Committee (hereinafter “the Scholarship Allocation Committee”) is the body in charge of evaluating Applicants based on the documents submitted and in accordance with the Evaluation Algorithm developed for this Scholarship Program, which is based on evaluating Applicants through a Score Scale, as defined in the Regulations.
The evaluation analysis, minutes, taken by the Scholarship Allocation Committee will be treated as Confidential Information for the exclusive use of UNITEC|CEUTEC, and under no circumstances will they be delivered, shared, and/or returned to the Applicants or third parties regardless of the final result of their Postulation.
In the event that your application is not successful, you will be provided with general feedback on this decision. Scholarship allocation resolutions are final and unappealable by Applicants and/or third parties. UNITEC|CEUTEC reserves the right to make known only to the Beneficiaries selected to receive the Scholarship, results that will be published each closing of applications on the official website of the Program.
EVALUATION RESULTS
The Scholarship Allocation Committee will notify all Applicants of the evaluation results and decision by email. The selected Applicants will be contacted individually and the results will be published later on the microsite of the Scholarship Program.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants who have been selected will receive an email from the address [email protected] detailing the benefits of the Scholarship awarded. If the Beneficiary does not wish to accept the Scholarship that has been offered to him, he must confirm it immediately in writing, sending a signed letter that explains the reasons for the rejection, which may be sent as an attached document to the email [email protected].
Beneficiaries must submit the requested documentation to proceed with their registration at the time they were summoned for it with a Scholarship Advisor. If you do not have any document, a requirement for your administrative file, it must be delivered, at the latest, in the first trimester of studies.
In the event that the Applicant is selected to obtain a scholarship benefit with UNITEC|CEUTEC and does not agree to subscribe and abide by the conditions of acceptance of the Scholarship, or for any other circumstance cannot accept the Scholarship, it will pass to status “Rejected the Scholarship”, and it may be assigned to another favorable Applicant without any responsibility on the part of the Nasser Foundation or UNITEC|CEUTEC with the previous Applicant who rejected the Scholarship.
The acceptance of the Scholarship and the terms and conditions will be recorded in writing, by signing the Letter of Commitment and Acceptance of the benefit, which will be delivered to the Scholarship Program offices located on the UNITEC campus in San Pedro Sula for beneficiaries in San Pedro Sula, at the UNITEC Tegucigalpa campus for beneficiaries in Tegucigalpa and the headquarters of CEUTEC La Ceiba for beneficiaries in La Ceiba, within the period established in the previous paragraph.

What benefits do the Nasser-UNITEC Foundation Scholarships offer?
1. The Scholarship Program will grant total or partial economic coverage to the Beneficiaries selected by the Scholarship Allocation Committee, during the years that their degree lasts according to the UNITEC|CEUTEC study plan and while the benefit is active.
As established in the Regulations, the amounts for economic coverage will be assigned based on the qualification that each Applicant has achieved during the Selection Process, according to the Evaluation Algorithm used.
The percentage of economic coverage will only be applied to the cost of the tuition and monthly payments (applicable according to each undergraduate and/or university technical program),

Beneficiaries of partial scholarships (that is, scholarships awarded for percentages less than 100%), must be able to finance, with their own funds or those of third parties, the payment of the remaining percentage of tuition and monthly payments each quarter, during the years that their term lasts. career according to the UNITEC|CEUTEC study plan.
NOTES
a. The economic coverage for the Scholarship granted will in no case include, among others, costs related to student services, transportation, right to use the library, graduation rights, academic trips, administrative procedures, activities, and/or educational material required for your career, etc. . Fundación Nasser and UNITEC|CEUTEC will not be responsible for any financing that is not expressly specified.
b. Scholarships are not retroactive, so Scholarship applications will not be accepted with respect to amounts that have already been paid by the Applicants or that have been generated for the applicant on dates prior to the award of the Scholarship, the latter applies to the case of inactive students.
c. Payment of the Scholarship: The form of payment of the Scholarship will be through the automatic application of the discount percentage granted by the Scholarship Assignment Committee, in the enrollment and quarterly monthly payments of the Beneficiary. At no time will the Scholarship be disbursed in cash to the Beneficiary and/or their parents, legal guardians, third parties, etc. for the payment of tuition and quarterly monthly payments.
