Scholarship details
The Olivia M. Marquart Scholarship is open to young adults whose life was greatly affected by cancer. The applicant may be undergoing treatment or have already surpassed cancer. Olivia M. Marquart Scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to cancer affected students as a recognition of their hardship, determination and fight against the said deadly disease.
The Olivia M. Marquart scholarship was established in honor of Olivia M. Marquart. This scholarship is a beacon of her strength and unwavering courage throughout her fight with Synovial Sarcomas. She graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree and initially planned to teach before she was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcomas.
Student applicants must be a citizen of the United States and presently pursuing either undergraduate studies, masters or PhD in Education.
The total worth of the scholarship is $ 2,500. The fund will be paid directly to the college or university the successful applicant had chosen.
In return, the foundation is expecting the chosen applicant to be active in the foundation’s drive for bone marrow registry.
Student applicants are expected to complete their application forms and submit it together with the other requirements.
