Scholarship details
This scholarship was established to encourage advanced study in law after the achievement of a Bachelor of Laws or a Juris Doctor.
The University of Sydney Law School in partnership with the Cameron family build this scholarship with the help of the late Peter Cameron’s colleagues to promote further study in Law.
To be eligible the students must be in their final year of being a law student, graduates, law graduands of the Sydney law school and not more than 3 years standing before the application close. Australian citizens or a permanent residence in Australia are welcome to apply.
The successful students will be selected based on their performance, community service, and leadership. The Sydney law school will award this scholarship and the committee dean will be the one to select or recommend a successful candidate. The scholarship value will be amounting up to 32,000$ hence the value will vary every year.
It is also important to know all the terms and condition of this scholarship in related to payments and awards and mostly about the termination and how the students will repay the scholarship in case the students will withdraw the scholarship before the completion of their degree.
The application will be open on the 3rd of July 2018 and deadline will be on the 2nd of October 2018.
