Glasglow University of United Kingdom started in 1415. English Literature has been taught to the University with their one of the colleagues Adams Smith 1750 and is one of the oldest and prestigious university in United Kingdom. English language and literature has become one of their courses offered that teaches the English Historical Linguistic and modern English Linguistic. The School has a vibrant research environment with world leading researchers and library facilities: with over 260 students, its postgraduate programme is overall one of the largest in the UK, recognised by success in competitive studentships.
The university has offer one 3 year home-fees only for the PhD of English Literature. This scholarships offers to full time students only. This scholarship is offered in memory of the late husband of Mrs A.L. Mann, who was known as Lauchlan Mann, and graduated MA from this University in 1951
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to new PhD students holding offers in English Literature, Medical Humanities, and American Studies (SCS) for the academic year 2017-18.

- International students are eligible to apply but note that the prize is for Home/EU fees.

Applicants will be considered their application for the scholarship, the University have already received and accepted you conditionally for PhD of Literature, Medical Humanities, and American Studies by the application deadline.
Applicants should send a brief CV and research proposal, a maximum of 3 pages to the English Literature Postgraduate Convenor Dr Adrian Streete
