Scholarship details
The University of Newcastle is now accepting applications for its PhD Scholarship in Mechanisms Underlying Myopia. The scholarship is available for the applicants from all over the world. The main purpose of the scholarship is giving research opportunity to the student researchers from all over the world. The University of Newcastle, informally known as Newcastle University, is an Australian public university and a member of Universities Australia and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The value of this scholarship is $26,682 per annum in 2017, indexed in January each year. The scholarship is for a period of three years, with the possibility of a six-month extension. The scholarships that will be awarded this year are only to pursue PhD programme. Only one scholarship is going to be given this year, to the student with the best result shown. Entrants of all nationalities can apply for the scholarship. The candidates should have a very good command over the English language.
