Scholarship details
To honor the determination our fellow OFWs have exerted while working hard in other countries to lift up their families to a more comfortable and sustainable living, one of the leading banks in the Philippines has started a scholarship program namely the Philippine National Bank Global Filipino Scholarship Program which opens one (1) scholarship grant slot per academic year for four (4) years to students whose parents or guardians are current OFWs and active PNB clients particularly in remitting money.
Applicants are mandated to submit the following documents to the PNB Foundation before proceeding to the next stage of the application process:
• Complete Form of Application
• Birth Certificate Copy of the Applicant
• Academic Records or Report Card of the Applicant
• Documents of Overseas Filipino Worker
• Income Tax Return of the Household
Grantees of the program are provided with the following privileges exclusively available for PNB scholars:
• Financial assistance worth Php100,000.00 for one (1) year to be given in installments thru credit to the scholar’s account at the beginning of each semester or trimester
• Covered expenses for fees in tuition and miscellaneous, book costs, uniform, allowances, transportation and airfare fees (if applicable)
• Job priority in any global office under PNB
