Scholarship details
Covering all of the school expenses including tuition costs and other fees, the Samuel Fletcher Tapman ASCE Student Chapter Scholarships is a yearly scholarship award that is granted to exactly 12 students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in civil engineering. They can even use the financial aid to fund the school fees starting from their sophomore year until they reach their senior year.
However, since it is a scholarship that offers a generous amount that will fund all of the school fees throughout the beneficiaries’ undergraduate journey, the application process is a bit stringent than any other scholarship and requires the applicants to adhere to the following requirements and qualifications:
-The applicants must be a current student in any of the accredited programs of ABET, geared toward civil engineering or a similar field during the application time.
-The applicant must be an ASCE Student Chapter local member.
-The applicant must have an exemplary performance in his/her Student Member of the Society during the application time.
-One application per student chapter is strictly enforced.
This scholarship grant will be bestowed upon aspiring students in the field of civil engineering so that they will pursue and continue their higher education in a recognized and decent educational institution.
Also, previous applicants may apply again and will still be considered, unless any of the requirements stated above were not met.
All applications must be mailed and received by the address included below on or before February 10, 2018. Incomplete documents will result in immediate disqualification of the application.
