The Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World is now inviting more women to join its ranks and obtain PhD scholarships The organisation has been committed to advancing the cause of women scientists from developing countries from the most part.
The 2018/2019 academic intake, candidates will be helped by the programme, which is financially backed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
The purpose of this fellowship opportunity is to shape the future female leaders of the respective region where girls come from. The fellowship comes in two variations. You will be offered either a full scholarship opportunity or a sandwich one, which is partial.
The scholarship itself will be quite generous and you will be entitled to a monthly allowance, which will foot the bills which have to do with living expenses, accommodation, and meals in the country that is currently hosting the fellowship.
Visa expenses will also be taken diligent care of. Annual medical insurance contribution is also featured as part of the scholarship opportunity.
All future candidates should apply by 1 June 2018. Developing countries are entitled to participate in this generous offer and to provide the future generation of female scientists and leaders in their respective domains.
