Saint Michael’s College founded 1904, is a private Catholic college located in Colchester, Vermont, in the United States. Their mission is to contribute through higher education to the enhancement of the human person and the advancement of human culture in the light of Catholic Faith. They want to engage the student with ideas in many world civilization, disciplines and assist students in the generative process of creating new understanding. They want to teach young generations to take responsibility for the moral and spiritual development.
The Saint Michael’s College offers a scholarship to all international undergraduate students to receive merit-based scholarships. Scholarship awards are valued between $1,000 and 50% of tuition. This is to pursue the undergraduate programme. Scholarships are awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university. However scholarship can be taken in the USA, applicants must have previous degree. This scholarship are open to all international students.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship applicants must submit their High School transcript of records, the university is looking for a sign of hard work and improvements for prospective students. Achievements such as Clubs, Leaderships inside or outside of school, students may put this in a writing sample. If a student’s engage in a community service in any levels you may also attach this in a writing sample but not necessarily required.
On a writing samples the university just wanted to know if the student is a good writer, Students may also share some information about yourself, experience and interest. Saint Michael’s College don’t required this from international students, but if the applicant wants to provide this they can attach it to their accounts.
International students must provide proof of competence in the English language, if this is not your native language.
To apply for this scholarship, Students must complete one of the application for admission, there will be an application fee worth 50$ or a fee waiver, Students must request their high school transcript to be sent in the admissions office along with the school form. If the student is a first year applicant, you are required to submit one or two recommendation from your teachers and counsellors.
The deadline for application is November 1, 2017 this is for the Spring Semester.
