Scholarship details
The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is the result of a collaboration between the Agency for Science, & Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
The programme is dedicated to PhD students who may pursue their studies on the premises of one of the labs of all parties involved in the scholarship, including A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS or SUTD. In addition to an access to a high-end facilities, students will also be guided by world-known researchers. If students are successful, they will obtain a corresponding Ph.D. from NTU, NUS or SUTD.
Students who have professed interest in science and technology and have fluency in English may apply. There are no restrictions as to the region where students apply from. Successful candidates will receive an attractive monthly stipend for a period of four years of PhD studies. The amount of the stipend will vary, starting at SGD 24,000 annually and once a Qualifying Examination is passed, it will be further increased to SGD 30,000.
