International students may now benefit by the IMD Future Leaders MBA Scholarships, Opportunity if they apply by 30 September and meet several criteria.
Switzerland is a tempting country to study in as it offers the third-highest salary and job security out of all OECD members, a club of mostly rich countries. The Opportunity Scholarship strives to encourage foreign students to apply for a higher institution in Switzerland.
Considering an MBA degree is also emphasizsd in the country, as publications such as Forbes often rank it as one of the degrees with the best return on investment after graduation. The country also offers one of the best establishments in the world, the IMD business school in Lausanne established in 1990.
Overall, up to three scholarships are awarded each year. The sponsorship continues for one full year and it is worth at CHF 30,000. The scholarship aims to help students finance their stay at IMD and additional loans are available to candidates that can provide evidence for their need. The loans can go up to CHF 65,000. Tuition and fees are also covered by the programme as well as project-related expenses for the year.
The IMD scholarship is available to individuals who demonstrate strong leadership potential and have unblemished academic results. Being able to provide strong reference letters are also considered a boon to any applicant. All applications must be submitted into the full-time IMD MBA programme so that they may be considered.
