Scholarship details
Every year, the Swiss Confederation offers the Government Excellence Scholarships with an aim of promoting international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and well over 180 countries. This research grant is open to post-graduate researchers of any discipline as long as they hold a Master’s degree and plan to come to Switzerland to further their studies or pursue research at doctoral or post doctoral level.

Scholarship Inclusions

Before applying, candidates will be required to check country-specific facts sheets for application procedure, eligibility criteria, deadlines, contact information specific to your country. If you meet the eligibility requirements then you can go ahead and contact your country of origin Swiss diplomatic representation. It is the responsibility of the Swiss diplomatic representation to provide the necessary information on the procedure including application forms and a list of necessary documentation.
