Development of the Agri-food sector is the main focus of the Teagasc Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Programme for the year 2018 in the country of Ireland. It aims to give emphasis in the promotion of science innovative application to develop the economy through Agri based productive development. It provides series of valuable trainings to further enhance the skills needed to produce crop production.
In order to gain profits and compete globally through a sustainable agricultural innovations the Teagasc gives its full support for the scholarship program. Scientists who have the passion in the Agricultural innovations are the priority of the scholarship programs. Research is located at Teagasc Animal and Bioscience Department, Animal & Grassland Research and Innovation Centre, Grange, Dunsany, Co. Meath.
The scholarship course level is for the Post Doctor programme only with study subject focused in the area of animal genomics. Increments of monetary awards are given annually with a startup scale for PD1 of €34,975. This increments will then subject to the approval of the board of scholarship depending on the performance output as prescribed in the training plan program.
Scholarship will be taken at Ireland with unknown number of scholarship grantees depending on the funds.
