Scholarship details
Estabished in 1983, The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds (BIF) is an independent non profit organization United Kingdom. One their task to support up and coming young scientist to promote the basic research in medicine. It is an organization that specifically geared up for the goal of the young professionals. Over the years, the foundation scholarshi/fellowship program has been successful.
The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds awards PhD fellowships to excellent junior aspiring scientists. The applicants should be not be over 27 years old who are willing to take PhD project in 3 years of Basic biomedical research in an internation laboratory.
Purpose
The programs aims to promote the biomedicine through research by providing the best young and upcoming scientists with a support of their PhD phase.
Timing and selection
Below are the following deadline for application:
February 1st, June 1st, October 1st of each year.
All applications will be reviewed by the panel after 4 weeks of respective deadline and the final list of awardee will be announce up to 5 months from the respective deadline.
Eligibility
The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds is a fellowship which awards to the successful candidates who is a European citizens or overseas and to non-european citizen pursuing their PhD degree project in Europe. Applicants should not be more than 27 years old.
