The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen now wishes to welcome candidates for its Ph.D. Scholarships in Plant-Microbe-Insect Interactions.
The scholarship aim is to test if the valuable impacts for plants of having a relationship with protection prompting organisms in the root zones are directed by a synchronous assault by plant pathogens and root-related creepy crawly pathogens. The position will include tries different things with mixes of plants, microorganisms and creepy crawly bugs, and assessment of plant, organism and irritation execution (plant hormone and metabolite enlistment, plant development, biomass, seed generation, microorganism colonization, bother utilization and development rates, and so forth).
Results will be incorporated into parallel analyses done by different ESRs to assess setting reliance on microorganism instigated plant protection. Applicants ought to have a solid foundation in the plant, microorganism as well as bug environment and experimentation.
