The University of Cambodia is committed to ensuring that students receive the needed scholarship opportunities that will benefit their higher education needs. The university does look for the students that need more funding and financial help when it comes to picking students that need the scholarship to help their higher education college careers.

Students can receive Bachelor, Master’s, or Postgraduate degrees with any of the listed schools above which are part of the University of Cambodia.
The University of Cambodia does select their student population based on excellent grades and bright students that have a drive to simply strive for excellence and incredible grades. The university does have on their admissions requirements page listed that grade point average and examination results do matter. Which will be a basis on if a student will be selected to join the student population that actively attends the University of Cambodia.
Eligibility
- Students that are Cambodian citizens can apply for the Timor-Leste Friendship Scholarship. This is for Cambodian citizens only.
- Individuals interested can be willing to study any field study or subject.
- Students must have a high school diploma or equivalent to that certificate.
- Applicants must take the University of Cambodia Undergraduate Entrance Examination and pass the exam. If the student does not pass the examine the student is not qualified for this scholarship.
- The university does ensure that all students take the English Proficiency Test, and the students must pass to be eligible to attend the university. However, if the student does not pass but wishes to enroll into English Language Classes then they are still deemed as eligible.
Requirements
The admission requirements are the same for the scholarship requirements that are mentioned on the original website for the University of Cambodia. This means students that have followed through with sending in their admissions application will see that the scholarship can then be applied for once they are accepted as a student to the university.
This scholarship is only for students enrolled at the University of Cambodia.
How to Apply
The best way to apply is by going through admissions before submitting an application for a scholarship. Because this scholarship is purely awarded through the admissions system. The panel of judges or the admissions office looks for the best students who may be having the worst financial difficulties. If so, up to 60% or more of their tuition and accommodation can be paid for by the university itself.
Reward – Extra Benefits
The amount awarded differs from student to student there is a minimum estimate that is around $3,000 to $5,000 that a student would automatically receive depending on their financial situation. However, a student may receive much more if they are an exceptionally brilliant student who has the grade point average to show for it, then the student could very well have their entire college career paid off by the university itself.
Deadline Time Line
The official deadline date is before October 26, 2023, which means students will be notified 4 months before if they have been chosen to attend the university. This means students should understand that the deadline date is no later than May 30, 2023.
The second term date is March 15, 2024, followed by the third term date being July 26, 2024.
Open Submission Window Time Frame
There is an open submission window time frame for students to send in admissions along with taking the necessary and required examinations that are given out by the University of Cambodia from January – May 30, 2023.

Annual or Renewable Scholarship Option
This is an annual scholarship however, this is not a renewable scholarship. This is strictly for new enrolled students that are facing financial difficulty. Although, and students should use the email to inquire, students can receive 2 to 3 years worth of funding that can cover enough of the student’s college career.
