For international students who decide to step up on their educational journey will get the chance to pursue their studies in the United Kingdom at the University of Leicester at a Ph.D. course level. The Midlands4Cities Scholarship opens a scholarship that will be benefiting international students who wish to pursue their doctoral degrees for the academic year of 2022-2023.

Criteria for Eligibility:
All international students who wish to be eligible for the scholarship must meet the requirements or criteria given by the university. Every student can also apply depending on the basis of their equivalent professional experience on a master’s qualification.
- For a full-time studentship, the currently p.a amounting to £4,500 must be rendered in payment approval fees.
- The students must have maintained their stipend or maintenance grant.

Scholarship Application Process:
The international students in the Ph.D. degree must be enrolled in the eligible courses for the scholarship and must look for a supervisor to complete the application for the Midlands4Cities Scholarship. The application for the scholarship can be accessed in an online portal provided by the university.
The students who wish to be admitted to the University of Leicester must be holding a Masters’s degree. A language requirement will be required by the university, as every course will be in the English language.
Scholarship Awards:
Deserving students in the UK who will be receiving the scholarship will be awarded a stipend for the UK Research and Innovation and tuition fees. The international students who will be the recipient of the scholarship will receive a tuition fee and a stipend that will support their living expenses while studying at the university.
The scholarship awards will have different benefits for international and UK students. The university will be announcing the recipient once it was finalized by the scholarship committee and the number of awards will be depending on the university’s decision.
Scholarship Deadline:
The deadline for the scholarship is until January 12, 2022. The scholarship will be offered annually.
