The International Business School in Hungary offers 6 scholarship programs for both local and international students who want to further their higher degrees in Hungary for the academic year of 2022-2023. The All-Level Scholarships Program offered by International Business School is intended for the students who wil be admitted with Bachelor’s, master or Ph.D. Degree with good academic merit and can demonstrate their leadership skills.

International Business School All-Levels Scholarships
International Business School offers a scholarship for all levels of degrees to support the local and international students to further their higher degrees at their universities. To encourage every student to develop more of their skills and knowledge the Business School comes up with an idea to help them and lessen their financial boundaries.
The University knows that every student is looking for Scholarship Opportunities to further and reach their academic and career goals, as tuition fee rises annually, the International Business School offers a tuition fee reduction scholarship for every level degree of the students, below is the list of scholarships they offered for the academic year of 2022-2023:
Starter Scholarship
The Starter Scholarship covers 25% of tuition fees for the first semester. It is open to applicants to Buckingham University validated English language undergraduate programs who, in addition to the general entry requirements, will meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Age limit: 18-25 (at the time of applying for the scholarship)
- 3 Level A Exams in all subjects with at least AAB grades or at least 35 points in IB diploma
- Hungarian citizens: 2 A-level exams with a minimum result of 70% each
- IELTS (academic or general) total score of 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component) or TOEFL 79 iBT (certificate must not be more than 2 years old)

Application process:
Students must first apply online for the IBS undergraduate program and upload the required documents

Students must also state their wish to receive the Starter Scholarship by email to [email protected]. The application is approved by the Chancellor and the decision cannot be contested. An added scholarship funds will be given to the limited number of international students.
Academic Scholarship
The IBS Academic Scholarships offers reduced tuition fees to undergraduate students in the program along with excellent academic achievement, who can apply for a partial scholarship, with IBS covering a portion of the semester fees for one semester, in two categories:
1st Category: Partial scholarship 75% of tuition fees for the following semester
Application requirements (related to the previous semester):
- Students have completed all modules planned for their respective semesters according to their respective standard curriculum
- Students have achieved a “continuous plus” in all their modules, evaluated on a 3-point scale
- In student modules graded on a 100-point scale, the arithmetic mean of the overall score is at least 79%
2nd category: Partial scholarship 50% of tuition fees for the following semester
Application requirements (related to the previous semester):
- Students have completed all modules planned for their respective semesters according to their respective standard curriculum
- Students have achieved a “continuous plus” in all their modules, graded on a 3-point scale
- In student modules graded on a 100-point scale, the arithmetic mean of the overall score is at least 76%
The first option to apply for a partial scholarship is for the second active semester based on the academic merit of the first semester. Students of a 2018 degree program or later cannot apply for a partial scholarship for a semester that includes an internship or furthering their studies abroad, and the results of this semester’s study cannot be used as a basis for applying for a partial scholarship for the following semester.
Master’s Scholarship in Budapest
Offers a 10-35% discount on the first tuition fee which can be the first semester or general fees for studies for master’s program applicants who, in addition to the general entry requirements will meet the following criteria:
- CGPA of 3.00-4.00 (out of 4.00) or an average of 75-100% in other education systems
- must have IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 94 (iBT) or equivalent
- Submit a cover letter (minimum of 200 words) with the scholarship email.
Application process:
Applicants must first apply online for the IBS master’s program and upload the required documents

- Language certificate.
At the same time, the applicant must express his desire to receive a master’s scholarship by email to [email protected], and attaching a cover letter. The application is approved by the Chancellor and the decision cannot be contested. If the scholarship is approved, the student must pay the remaining tuition fees by the payment deadline
Vienna Masters Degree Scholarship
Offers a 10-35% discount on the first tuition fee which can be the first semester or general fees for studies for master’s program applicants who, in addition to the general entry requirements will meet the following criteria:
- CGPA of 3.00-4.00 (out of 4.00) or an average of 75-100% in other education systems
- must have IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 94 (iBT) or equivalent
- Submit a cover letter (minimum of 200 words) with the scholarship email.
The application process for this scholarship is the same process for the Budapest scholarship for a Master’s degree. The scholarship award will be depending on the GPA of the applicants.
MBA Awards
Offers 25% discount on MBA program fees to University of Buckingham-validated IBS MBA program applicants who meet the following criteria in addition to the general admission requirements:
- must have a minimum GMAT score of 650.
Application process:
Applicants must first apply online for the MBA program and upload the required documents.
At the same time, applicants must state their wish to receive an MBA scholarship by sending an email to [email protected].
Ph.D. Scholarship
- If the candidate resides in Budapest or is able to visit Budapest, they must hold a training demonstration, as required by all other job applicants.
- If the candidate cannot visit Budapest, then he can demonstrate training or can be organized for a group of candidates at a location convenient for them; if they have relevant teaching experience, a Skype interview demo can be made.
- Undergraduate and Master’s degree applicants– May 31, 2022, for September 2022 intake and November 30, 2022, for February 2023 academic session.
- Ph.D. Applicants– The application period for the Doctoral program will be ongoing annually and International Business School will continue to accept eligible students.
All scholarships will be offered annually, awards may vary depending on the scholarship level for which the applicants will be eligible. Only one scholarship will be provided for each successful applicant.
