Scholarship details
The University of Eastern Finland is now readily inviting applicants from abroad and international students to take a chance at the past academic achievements available under the 2018 Tuition Waiver Scholarships. The scholarships are granted to students who have distinguished themselves in terms of academia. More importantly, the period of the scholarship is for up to two years
The award is quite simple: you get 100% or 80% annual tuition. The waiver is given to 80% of those that are accepted to enroll at the university. The successful candidates will get EUR620 every month. Overall, 14 candidates will be selected.
In order to qualify, hwoever, students are required to pay the tuition fee. Only international students may apply.
In order to apply, you will have to present all requested documents, including previous studies and grades, and possible interviews with the applicant. An evaluated motivation should be demonstrated in order for candidates to make the cut and enter the scholarship. All of the requested documents ought to be sent in by 31 January 2018.
The University is quite happy to throw in its financial weight in order to prop up any candidate that is seen as well worth investing to. There are no surprises there and candidates may happily apply for the scholarship. Just do not forget to pay your fee first.
