Scholarship details
The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) is an American organization that capitals scholarships for black students and general scholarship funds for 37 private historically black colleges and universities.
The university is offering a scholarship called “WM Wrigley Foundation Scholarship”. This scholarship is to provide the junior and senior attending the UNCF a financial assistance, students who are attending the UNCF during the academic year 2017-2018. The UNCF mission is by enhancing the quality of education by raising a funds for member colleges and universities, for a deserving students they provide the financial assistance while supplying technical assistance to member institution.
Here are the list of the following criteria for eligibility:
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. national or permanent resident
- Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Student must college junior, college senior, college 5th-year senior
- Candidates for this scholarship should be majoring engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical, industrial), business, finance, accounting, chemistry, economics, computer science or marketing.
The scholarship is amounting up to 5,000$, depending on the financial need of the student as verified by the attending University or College.
To apply for this scholarship students must have a completed application and authorization forms, Essay (all information about this essay are included in their website), and students transcript of record as well.
Scholarship opens last July 29, 2017 and still on-going and the deadline for the scholarship is October 6, 2017.
