Scholarship details
UCD is glad to announce itsApplications Undergraduate Scholarships at UCD for the academic year 2022-23. Students from Ireland are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The overarching purpose of Access & Lifelong Learning (ALL) is to be the ‘bridge to inclusion’ offering connections, engagement, and building relationships between communities that are ‘distant’ from higher education, and the University community.
UCD recognizes that the associated costs of attending the third level may present a barrier for some applicants in pursuing a degree. UCD Access and Lifelong Learning, with generous support from UCD Foundation, offers a range of scholarships for students who are underrepresented at UCD. 100 scholarships were awarded in 2022-23.
UCD is Ireland’s Global University – the largest and most international university in Ireland with almost 8,000 international students from 138 countries. International academics make up over 30% of UCD’s faculty, and over 50% of UCD’s research-funded staff is non-Irish.
Located in Dublin city, Ireland’s capital (a 50-minute flight from London), UCD is Ireland’s leader in postgraduate education with over 8,000 graduate students, representing approximately 26% of the UCD student population. UCD is the most connected and networked university with Government, industry, and society in Ireland.
Many of UCD’s 239,000 alumni have made their mark in all areas of industry, arts, engineering, science, culture, sport, and public life, in Ireland and abroad. UCD has one of the largest urban campuses in Europe which offers world-class facilities and amenities including extensive accommodation options with 24-hour security.
UCD has Global Centres in New York, Beijing, Delhi, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur. Our Global Centres provide an accessible first point of contact for high schools, partner institutions, students, and parents in the local time zone.
