The University of Bridgeport is a college located near the coast in the biggest city of Connecticut. If you’re an undergraduate student at the University of Bridgeport, you can choose from many different subjects to study. Graduate students also have a lot of options, including programs in education, engineering, and more.
When you’re not in class, there are over 50 clubs to join, like fraternities, sororities, and sports teams you can play on just for fun.
The university’s sports teams are called the Purple Knights and compete at the Division II level. One season, the basketball team had an amazing player named Manute Bol, who was 7 feet 7 inches tall. He later played in the NBA and became an activist in Sudan, his home country.
Besides sports, students can enjoy spending time at Beardsley Park, which is a large park nearby, or visit the only zoo in the state.

Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship will be awarded to students up to $11,000 to $17,000.
General Academic Scholarships Eligibility
Eligible Countries: The scholarships are open to students from all around the world.
Entry Requirements: To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and demonstrate strong academic abilities.
– Applicants facing disadvantages due to disability, socioeconomic status, or inability to finance their studies will be considered.
– Applicants should not be currently employed or have limited work experience that does not cover their study expenses.
– Applicants should demonstrate financial difficulties in funding their university and postgraduate studies.
– Applicants with leadership or community involvement experience, or those who show potential for giving back, will be preferred.
– International undergraduate students who wish to apply for an athletic scholarship are required to take the SAT test.
– The University of Bridgeport Department of Athletics offers athletic scholarships to individuals who exhibit exceptional athletic talent and meet the eligibility regulations set by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the University of Bridgeport.
