The Leibniz Institute for Research on Society and Space (IRS) in Erkner (close Berlin) is now offering three Ph.D. positions in a global Junior Research Group “Constructing Transnational Spaces of Higher Education”. The positions empower the effective candidates to lead look into on the geologies of the globalization of advanced education and create and understand their doctoral expositions.

The Institute is searching for in the perfect competitor:

  • An excellence Master’s degree in human geography.
  • Learning of (subjective) sociology explore strategies;
  • Distinct fascination and inspiration to investigate parts of the geologies of globalization of advanced education, and readiness to lead hands-on work abroad;
  • Capacity to work freely and as a component of a group

Interest students must send a letter of motivation, educational curriculum vitae, duplicates of applicable confirmations, a written work test (20 pages max., e.g. part of your Master’s theory), and contact subtle elements of two references in a solitary pdf document (max. 2 MB) by email with the subject title “Transnational Education”, the reference number 1118 and a sign of the quantity of the subproject (#1-3).
