Scholarship details
The City, University of London Scholarship Program intended to arrange for a financial support for international students who comes from a lowest income household groups. The University together with the South -East Network for Social Science are now accommodating applicants for the ESRC or Economic and Social Research Council Ph.D. studentship awards. This is to help them pursue their doctoral degree program, in the fields of Economics and Business and Management.
Successful students will have the fees paid and will also receive a stipend covering all living expenses and be able to further their financial needs or support for their pieces of training and research expenses, including the conference trips, overseas fieldwork, and a language learning or any other skill essential to the research projects. This benefits will inspire students research training and be empowering their skills and developing their knowledge, City’s location in central London will also benefit the student by putting them in the hearts of the government, finance, law, creative industries, and business.
The eligibility includes a settled status or no restriction to stay in the UK, an ordinary resident for three years in the UK and not be a resident in the UK wholly or mainly for a purpose or a full-time education only.
A 6.5 in IELTS is required and a student’s previous degree.
The deadline for application is January 21, 2018, at midnight in London.
