UoPeople academic leadership originates from top universities such as Harvard, Yale, Cambridge, NYU, Oxford and more. UoPeople has been partnered with Yale University for research and New York University.
University of the People or UoPeople is the world’s first non-profit, tuition-free, accredited online university devoted to opening access to higher education worldwide. Using open-source technology, Open Educational Resources, peer-to-peer learning, and the assistance of academic volunteers, this is designed to be responsible for access to university studies for qualified high school graduates, regardless of financial, geographic, societal or personal restraints.
This scholarship is being awarded in the field of associate and bachelor degree programs in business administration, health science, and computer science, as well as an MBA program. All international students are eligible to apply, who have graduated high school, sufficient English skills, have access to a computer and the Internet.
Students need to complete the application requirements and undergo an application procedure in order to be acknowledged into the program.
The entrance fee process is directed in 5 terms annually. However, for those students who are incapable to afford even these minimal fees, UoPeople offers a selection of scholarship funds to cover all, or part, of the processing fees. These funds are designed to meet the unique and different needs of its students.
