The University of the People is an Education Revolution. It is the very first tuition free, American accredited, non-profit, online university. The university employs groundbreaking online learning models and is staffed with instructors from world renowned academic volunteers. It gives students the opportunity to obtain high quality and invaluable American degrees.
The university offers four-year bachelor’s degree and two-year associate program in Business administration, health science, and computer science. The university also offers MBA program. The university, alongside the International Baccalaureate (IB) recently launched a tuition free, online Master of Education (M.Ed).
Host Institution:
The University of the People was founded in 2009 and obtained its accreditation in 2014. Over the years it has garnered a positive reputation in the international arena of online higher education. It has partnership with world renowned institutions, such as Yale ISP Law School for Research, New York University, University of Edinburgh, and the University of California.
Field of study:

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The University of the People is tuition-free due largely to its use of volunteers, open-source technology, Open Educational Resources, and peer-to-peer learning. The university boost of more than 6000 professionals who have volunteered for different key positions in the university.
Students would only be asked to pay an assessment fee of $100 at the end of each course. However, there are a variety of scholarships available for students who may find this fee prohibitive. Some of the scholarship include; Simone Biles Legacy Scholarship Fund, Emergency Refugee Assistance Scholarship Fund, and Foundation Hoffman Scholarship.
Eligibility:
The university is open to all students who have graduated high school, who have access to an internet-connected computer, and is proficient in English skills to study at the university.
Application instruction:
