Scholarship details
The University of Waikato Foundation Studies Scholarship was built up to encourage the international students for an opportunity and assist them as they are enrolled for the first time at the University of Waikato into a (CAFS) Certificate of Attainment in Foundation Studies or (CUP) Certificate of University Preparation.
This scholarship might be carried out to a tuition fees only and non-transferable. The international students still needed to pay their tuition fees and apply for a visa and the University will be transferring the funds to the successful students account once the enrollment is already finished.
This scholarship is eligible for an International Students, not a student in The University of Waikato Foundation Studies program, Residing in the New Zealand.
The scholarship value is amounting up to 3,400$ US Dollar for the standard foundation and 1,700$ US Dollar for Accelerated Foundation or Certificate of University Preparation Programs.
Here are the list of application dates:
- (for offers commencing in A Semester 2018) 15 November
- (for offers commencing in B Semester 2018) 15 November
- (for offers commencing in C Semester 2018) 15 August
After receiving a Foundation and Degree then only when the student’s application must apply but this is only prior to paying tuition fees and accepting it.
The selection panel will announce the successful scholar once the application is being reviewed.
