The Swedish Institute – SISGP Master’s Scholarships in Sweden represent a highly sought after and fully funded international scholarship program for Master’s studies in Sweden. It aims to develop future world leaders who will contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and contribute to positive and sustainable development in their countries and regions of origin.
This program is funded by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and offers you the unique opportunity to develop both professionally and academically, experience Swedish society and culture, and build a long-lasting relationship with Sweden and other fellows.

WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for ambitious professionals who want to make a difference working with issues that contribute to fair and sustainable development in their country and region of origin.
Applicants should also have a clear idea of how the study program in Sweden would benefit their home country or region.
Priority will be given to applicants with strong professional backgrounds and proven leadership experience.

Usually, only a small percentage (between 4-6%) of applicants are awarded a Global Professionals scholarship. Therefore, we recommend that you also look for other scholarship opportunities at the Swedish Institute: www.studyinsweden.se
ACADEMIC PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
The master’s programs you apply for must be eligible for SI scholarships. We prioritize programs within certain subject areas, depending on your country of citizenship.
Only available for eligible programs beginning in the fall semester of 2022.
The list of eligible master’s programs will be published on November 1, 2021
SCHOLARSHIP PERIOD
The scholarship is intended for one- or two-year full-time master’s programs.
The scholarship period cannot be changed or extended beyond the period of the awarded scholarship, nor can it be transferred to a study program other than the awarded master’s program.

BASIC SELECTION CRITERIA
Country of Citizenship You
must be a citizen of a country that is eligible for SI scholarships.
OTHER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
There are also other conditions regarding dual citizenship, residency / prior studies in Sweden, and more. Please note that selection priorities will differ in some respects depending on the country of citizenship.
What benefits do the Swedish Institute – SISGP Masters Scholarships in Sweden offer?
1. Full tuition coverage if you pay the fee directly to your Swedish university at the beginning of each semester.
2. A monthly payment of SEK 10,000 to cover your living expenses during the study period.
3. Insurance against illness and accident.
4. SI Network for Future Global Leaders (NFGL) Membership – which is a platform that will help you grow professionally and build a network while in Sweden.
5. For Bangladesh; Bolivia; Brazil; Cambodia; Cameroon; Colombia; Ecuador; Egypt; Ethiopia; Gambia; Ghana; Guatemala; Honduras; Indonesia; Jordan; Kenya; Liberia; Malawi; Morocco; Myanmar (Burma); Nepal; Nigeria; Pakistan; Peru; Philippines; Rwanda; South Africa; Sri Lanka; Sudan; Tanzania; Tunisia; Uganda; Vietnam; Zambia and Zimbabwe: The scholarship includes a SEK 15,000 travel grant for the entire study period. This is a one-time payment and does not apply to students already living in Sweden.
6. Upon completion of your scholarship period, you become a member of the SI Alumni Network. As a member, you get a unique opportunity for ongoing networking and professional development. Local networks operate around the world and are currently made up of more than 15,000 talented students from more than 140 countries.
