Scholarship details
The Vice-Chancellor’s Sports Scholarship is now available at De Montfort University in the United Kingdom. The scholarships are extended to international students who want to apply for the programme.
Prospective candidates may enroll in either undergraduate, postgraduate or postgraduate research programme. As part of the scholarship, the students will compete in British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS).
The amount of the scholarship is up to GBP 6,000 and it may be distributed as GBP 4,000 in cash bursary and GBP 2,000 contribute towards covering one’s medical expenses and additional training.
Only applicants enrolled in one of the courses outlined before for the academic 2017/2018 year will be considered for the scholarship. In addition, successful candidates would be expected to show thorough commitment to their sport.
If English isn’t the student’s first language, they will need to sit an IELTS exam with a score no lower than 6.5 or 6.0.
Interested candidates may still apply for the January 2018 intake application process by 25 January 2018.
