For the academic year 2018, the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS provides scholarship opportunities to all Malaysian students for a PhD course program. The scholarship is sponsored by the Yayasan UTP Postgraduate Scholarship.
The University does not only adhere to the Malaysian student development but likewise to the betterment of research foundation through education curriculum. The program is focused in the research field purpose which has enough research facilities to cater the Master’s Degree level. Through the profound research program, the students are given the high chance to visit and immerse the research experts in industry.
The University is a private research institution company which is located in Perak, Malaysia. It was in year 1997 when it was established.
The scholarship will end application date on November 31, 2017. All applicants must submit form week prior to the deadline date to secure a spot in listings for applicants. Scholarship subjects are offered only in the following areas: CO Management, Seismic Imaging, Energy System, Biomass, Enhanced Oil Recovery, Offshore Structure, Ionic Liquid and Other related oil and gas areas.
Amount of Scholarship Award:
- Full tuition fees coverage
- Monthly allowance of RM3,000 (Master)/RM5,000(PhD)
- Book allowance of RM1,000
- Computer grant up to RM3,000
- Thesis allowance up to RM2,000
- Paper presentations at national or international conferences
