Living Costs in the Country
Without rent coverage, a student can expect to spend around $365 in necessities such as groceries, and other daily needs. Rent along costs around $50 to $145 for an apartment. When a rent for a house can go towards $92 to $1,000 depending on where the house is located.
Annual Tuition Costs
Students can work towards a full year academic degree that would only cost them a total of $330 USD for the entire year. This is the base average for undergraduate courses and programs. After students reach their Master’s level, they can expect to pay up to $550 or up to $650 but it depends on what subject field they are working towards. Main Languages Spoken in Afghanistan
The main languages in Afghanistan are Pashto and Persian/Dari. There are many languages spoken throughout the country that students will come in contact with. A few other languages commonly spoken include Uzbek, Turkmen, Balochi, Farsi, and a few of these languages do incorporate Arabic letters. English is not common here, and students that only know English or know English as a second language would do much better to learn Pashto or Dari.
