You know how it goes: you read the words “Once upon a time…” and you automatically know you’re going to be reading a fairy tale. Whether you grew up with the Disney or Grimm versions, you should know how much they all cost.

Snow White gets lazy with her chores, Cinderella has a midnight curfew, and Hansel and Gretel meet a delicious death. But what about the parts of the stories we don’t know about? Or what if the accounts we’re familiar with didn’t happen that way?

What is your interpretation of a classic fairy tale? We want to know what would happen in a fairy tale if you were in charge.

Maybe you’ve always been curious about a different character’s perspective. Was the wolf from The Three Little Pigs a vegetarian who desperately wanted some friends?

Do these stories need a modern twist? Rapunzel would have felt a lot less alone if she had a cell phone in that tower.

Also, who decided that all princesses should end up with a prince? Tell us your version of a fairy tale in a poem for a chance to win.
